Roof Top
Most equipment is already on site and installed. Two of the 3 lift cars are already installed. We climbed to the roof top and was pleasantly surprise with the cool breeze and beautiful view. On the east, Mount Kinabalu rise majesticly and on the west just above the horizon, the sky was on fire with the sunset.
Site Visit 24/04/09
Arranged with Chiew Bong to visit the site on 24/4/09. Site Supervisors, Dominic and Victor were around as we took the tour of the building. We went throught the site plan, saw the offices, mock up room. Indeed a very compact size room. My thought went to the express service where Housekeeping will not need too much time to turn around the room for next occupants. Walls on first six floors are plastered. Basement is almost done and can be used as pre-opening office.
Project 17/04/09
Met up with ET from the head office and CB, the architect over lunch at Equatorial Restaurant. First time, I come in contact with representatives involve with the construction of the hotel.
First Meeting 11/12/08
First Meeting with MD of CHM, Dato EL. He introduced CHM and its group of hotels. He elaborated on the opening of Cititel Express in KK.
